As a psychoanalytic psychotherapist I offer individual psychotherapy with children, adolescents and parents.
I provide therapeutic consultations to parents and carers to help make sense of a child’s behaviour within the family, this often runs alongside a child’s therapy.
In addition, I offer supervision and consultations to individuals or organisations working with children, families or vulnerable young adults.
Psychoanalytic psychotherapy develops understanding in a way which makes difficulties seem less overwhelming and therefore more manageable. When a child, young person or adult begins to feel more able to think about and understand frightening feelings and conflicts they become less burdened by them and will be more able to engage in rewarding relationships and activities.
My practice is located in Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, (Near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire and Thame, Oxfordshire)
